I've got a feeling that this is a silly question but here goes:
I'm running 10.4 7 server here at my desk. I have 1 ethernet
socket for my
server. The server in question has a fixed IP, serves a couple of
minor
websites and Is used mainly for network / WGM admin. Thing is I
come in with
a laptop and there's no socket on the wall that I can use to
connect it to
the network.
What I'm wondering is if there is any way I can get my desktop
server to
share its internet connection, like you can do running the client
version of
Tiger, over firewire?
Sure. This is even documemnted. Just use the firewire as the
interface to your laptop.
