There will have to be something there, but if Netinfo is eliminated, then
any workflow you have that assumes Netinfo, i.e. uses the Netinfo tools,
will break. With that in mind, folks may wish to review such workflow to see
if it can be separated from Netinfo-specific tools.
However, Dan has a valid point about OD: It is a marketing name for Mac OS
X's Directory Services, so the idea of "OD or Netinfo" is perhaps not the
best way to describe it. Apple doesn't tend to help here, since they tend to
make it look like Open Directory is just LDAP, when it isn't.
Apple being more precise in how they talk about such things would be a huge
help here.
