Stupid question of the week. I just added another domain to my
server. Configuring the mail, receiving is fine. Sending - won't
send except plain. No login works. I've checked and rechecked
passwords and users, but it simply refuses to send with password
enabled.
Simply adding a domain name to the list of 'Local Host Aliases' in
Server admin shouldn't cause you any problems. I've added many
without issue. You must have performed some additional steps that
screwed things up.
If you can be more specific about what you did we might be able to help.
Also, check your log files for clues to what the problem might be.
That's what they're there for.
