Not necessarily. It's clear that TMTOWTDI. For instance service can
be bound to IPs if not also NIs.
Is your Xserver also your firewall?
That's always a bad practice. Whgy make a several thousand dollar
machine into something that you could get free with breakfast cereal?
Ed Pastore is right. It doesn't take much of a box to shell out
pages and graphics. I would get a cheap box (I would never
recommend Dell on an Apple forum, that wouldn't be smart...but...)
and throw Linux on it.
Right, so the OP has two disparate systems to manage.
Adding am old G4 bought off ebay for $50 might be a better recomendation ;)
If you are desperate to use a Mac for web services (I'm sure Apple
doesn't want to see this post) but you can use a Mac Mini. Apache
and PHP is installed by default and it is VERY easy to setup
PostgreSQL/MySQL.
Mysql is already installed on OS X Server and Postgres is installed
part of ARD.
