I've cut the replicas down to just one and changed the settings to replicate every 90 minutes instead of on change. I actually demoted the replica completely and added back yesturday afternoon. This actually ran as advertised overnight and this morning, then about noon, it started replicating repeatedly again. I made no change in the directory at all, there shouldn't have been any changes at all. I've seen something like this, though I believe in my case it was actually bouncing a few records back and forth with each sync. Are your clocks in sync across all servers? You may have luck by stripping the sync dates out of both password servers, thus forcing a full sync. This can be accomplished by running NeST -stripsyncdates. I don't recall if you need to have PWS stopped before doing this, so it would be best to stop it. This may cause some interruption for clients, so do it at a non-peak time. cd /System/Library/LaunchDaemons launchctl unload -w com.apple.PasswordService.xml; NeST -stripsyncdates ; launchctl load -w com.apple.PasswordService.xml Not sure if this would be needed on both servers, but if you do run it on both, it might be a good idea not to do them both at the same time.
