Netbackup XServe XRAID SoftRAID

Hi,

Looking for information, testimonials, pro's & con's regarding compatibility with having a growing
OS X 10.4 shop be backed up by Netbackup.  Have concerns regarding Finder file attributes, Finder labels, resource forks and future OS X compatibility.
Also Archives of Mac OS data files from over the last 17 years currently stored on read only XRAID volumes & backed up to LT02.

I understand the OS X client is terminal only but that is mostly all the information that I find.  I also fount that ACLs are not backed up.  This is a killer to me.
I also understand that XRAID and SoftRAID volume and partition names may be an issue for Netbackup.

I am having a hard time finding positive information about OS X shops that utilize Netbackup.  Just that the client exists and often it may not be compatible with
the current Mac OS X at certain times.

We are Big in-house design /  graphics / prepress shop.  Should give you an idea about our file types.  Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator the works.
Currently using XServe dp 2.0 and XRAID 5.6 (RAID 5) with SoftRaid partitions.
Current backup solution is Retrospect 6.x.  Quantum ATL M1500 w/ 2 LTO2 drives.  This works very well doing two backups a night - full and incremental & Archives.
Restores are very easy and we have choices for restoring to any Mac volume or Mac on the network.

I have observed a good amount of issues with the Netbackup  & ADIC i2000 solution we use for Win / Unix backups  in contrast Retrospect has been rock solid for 17 years.

Any contributions to my search would be helpful.

Thank you.

LM
