When I run the "Verify Disk" command in Disk Utility on the RAID volume, I get this error:

Short of buying a copy of DiskWarrior, does anyone have a fix for this? Or has anyone even seen this happen before?
Sorry to hear this. What most likely happened is the partition map is damaged. We have fixed a few of these (and picked up very happy customers!), sometimes at no charge, sometimes for a modest fee, depending on how much work it takes.
One of the problems with Disk Utility RAID is that it does not follow best practices in some scenarios, and fiascos can and do happen.
Good luck, and if you are interested, let me know off list.
Thanks for the offer, Mark; I'll let you know how things go.
Chris
