Surprising for what should be a brand new server, I'd suggest verifying the system drive with diskutil / Disk Utility

These errors are probably not an indication of a busted server. The explanation and fix lies in that forum thread, though not in the message referred to above. Check the one from 'mcnaugha' from Friday, March 09 2007 @ 06:57 am CST.
