Does anyone have a procedure for compiling SABA for Mac OS X Server 10.4? I have had to reduce my Windows users to using SFTP because our network administrators are concerned about this vulnerability.

Hello All,

We have a Mac 10.4 OSX server that is running samba for network shares using open directory for access. Does anyone have any clear instructions for compiling SAMBA 0.25 with open directory to sidestep the vulnerabilities of the built-in client (which is 2 years old).

The vulnerabilities are in the server, not the client. Building 3.0.25 with the Open Directory changes is a significant porting exercise. FWIW, not all of the vulnerabilities are present in 3.0.10, and updates are in progress.
