This list rocks! Thanks to the many suggestions regarding doing a cold
reboot (power down, disconnect EVERY cable, wait 10 minutes, reboot), both
FW800 ports have awakened and are back on duty.
A nice new trick for me and a lot less intrusive as swapping the motherboard
(thanks Apple).
