Any thoughts on the following?

(Contents of my original message was removed)

- Server 10.4.8
- Scope has 300 available entries
- network has about 100 devices
- lease time: 4 hours
The DHCP server has no available leases ...

- what could be happening here?
- what is the best way to clear - overnight - the assigned leases?

This is generally woolly thinking.

Just because you decided to drop a lease doesn't mean that the client won't still legitimately have the lease.

In order to drop a lease properly the client must drop the lease *with* the server.

As for what could be happening:

- maybe you've assigned all your leases?

- you can't have more that 252 systems on a /24 CIDR block so if you're trying to assign 300 clients to 192.168.1.xxx then you're SOL.

Basically you need to do some more troubleshooting
