NetBoot showing Hardware address differently

This is kind of hard to explain in words since I don't know the terminology (otherwise I wouldn't be posting).

I have a MacBook that I netboot with MAC: 00:16:cb:d0:39:06
When it shows in the NetBoot Clients list it shows as: 1,0:16:cb:d0:39:6

The filters will also use this format for performing its filter option.

This is all great except I can't figure out what the formatting is called for the way it is shown in my NetBoot Client log.  I thought it was some sort of Cisco dotted decimal adaptation (since we're a full Cisco house), but that doesn't seem to be it.  Once I get this I can move forward in assigning filters.

And no, I'm not trying to report an error or bug - I think this is by design.

Thanks in advance,

Mike Wyant, Jr.
