I just wanted to double check with all of you. On our mail server
I've required STMP Authentication to send emails, is that all you
have to do to keep your server from participating with the SPAMMERS.
I just want to make sure that I don't have our server open, so
spammers can relay their evil messages through it.
Under SMTP I have 'login' selected, and under IMAP I have 'login' and
'clear'. Also under POP I have 'clear' selected. And this is inside
the 'advanced' tab of the mail services.
So once you have 'login' selected under SMTP, does that keep your
server from participating with the spammers? I ask because I've
noticed roughly 6 emails that remain in my "Mail Queue"
