Subject: Can't make server a BDC

Hi All,

running a Tiger OD Replica (10.4.10) with Windows Services. I can make it a domain member, but not a BDC.

When I change it from Domain Member to BDC, it asks me to put in the directory admin user name and password.

When I do so, it says "Error while writing settings (Unable to authenticate with the user name and password)"

How can this be? I have the put in the same user name and password when I make it a domain member. I've tried numerous times over the past few months.

Thanks,
Matt

Might be a something I'm sure you've checked - but you are inputting the Mac OS X Server Directory Administrator password (diradmin)?  Not a local admin password or anything else?

Cheers,
PJR
