Hello all, I just installed 10.5.1 server onto a DP G5 Xserve.
Everything seems to be going smoothly. I was able to bind the machine to our
2003 AD as well as verifying the computer account was created. I am not able to join the machine to the Kerberos domain
although. I had no problem doing this under 10.4 and actually had it
scripted using –SSO in the dsconfigad command. I found an apple doc
saying to use the “Join Kerberos Domain” button in Server admin
under Open Directory, which I do see. But clicking it only requests the
info to join a MIT kerb domain, and doesn’t show the dropdown menu
described in the Apple tech note (link below). If I try to enter the info
in manually, the logs show errors that I’m using an invalid domain. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=ServerAdmin/10.5/en/c4od22.html Has anyone else seen this problem and solved it? Any
help would be appreciated. Regards,
Daniel Costello
