Re: Address Book, Directory & LDAP (Mac OS X Server 10.5.1)

The Directory program see everything fine, though it won't let me edit anything. However, my users are going to expect to be able to see everything in Address Book.

How do I get Address Book to see entries in the Mac OS X Server
directory (10.5.1)? I have gone to Preferences and LDAP and created
an entry. I have the server name (test.washingtonian.com), port 389,
SSL is unchecked, I have tried a variety of entries in Search Base
(leaving it blank, "dc=washingtonian,dc=com" which matches the search
based entered in Server Admin) but no matter what I do no entries
ever appear in the directory in Address Book. Any suggestion on what
I should do on either the client or server side?

I am running both Leopard Client and Server in this test.

Have you tried using the Directory.app in /Applications/Utilities? It sees my 10.4 ldap with no configuration (other than being joined to OD).
