Leopard Radius via "proxy"

Title: Leopard Radius via "proxy"

I am curious if anyone have used Leopard's built-in Radius services with something besides Apple's own Access Points.

I am thinking of the following setup:

PC  ---------- AP ---------- RS0 ---------- RS

PC  = WiFi client
AP  = Access Point
RS0 = Radiator based Radius server http://www.open.com.au/radiator/
(RS0 is driven by the IT department at a large location with many smaller companies)

RS  = Leopard Server (at one of the smaller companies LAN's)

I expect it to work, but have read that it might only be Apples AP's that are supported:

I am wondering if the built-in radius service in any way is "hardcoded" to Apple's access points since I am unable to see the port 1812+1813 being open on a Leopard server runing Radius. (I have not yet had the time to do some tcpdump/Ethereal analysis on the server)

- TIA TvE
