Typing "ps aux | grep mysql" returns:

I also noticed that typing "mysql" returns "-bash: mysql: command
not found"
is it normal?
With server software no, this is not normal behavior.
I should be running Mac OS X Server...
With the types of problems you're having you might not be running
server software and that would explain the issues you're experiencing.
I even tried "sudo SystemStarter stop MySQL" and "sudo
SystemStarter start MySQL" but nothing changes...
If you have not initialized mysql then it wont start.
Any further idea?
Can you even tell if mysql is running?
Thank you all,
livio.
