The strange thing is that we were running Xsan 1.4.1 on 10.4.10 from the time it was released (half a year ago, no?). And everything worked fine. As I see on the tread people have same problems with 1.4.1 and 10.4.10. So at least it is not because of 1.4.2 or 1.4.10/11, maybe a combination both?
I've already checked all cables, etc. They are fine.
The only thing I'm thinking right now is switching all Apples (including Xserve RAIDs) in the building for the night and then turning back on one by one. Maybe after Xserve RAID reboot it will show me a bad disk or something.
I don't have AppleCare agreement, so I haven't opened a case. Can you recommend it? I always wondered what kind of support you can get for such money.
