I want to limit the # of IMAP connections a single user can have
to my server. I am noticing at a minimum of 2 connections, some 3
or even 4 imap connections.
Most users are using Mac OS X 10.4 email client. I was hoping to
take a bit of a load off of the server by eliminating some of
these duplicate connections and in turn fixing my issue with my
mail queue locking up.
Any ideas?
Well since mail queues are related to postfix and not cyrus (which
handles IMAP) I smell woolly thinking.
I'f you're having lmtp issues then you most likely have some
localized network issue.
