Hi all-
I'm new to the list and I'm having the darnest time trying to figure
out what is wrong with my RADIUS server. I was hoping that it would
be "plug and play" in Leopard server, but it appears not.
Basically I have a leopard server that is connected to a Tiger OD
server. this works fine, OD users can ssh to the server, etc. no
problems there. When i turn on RADIUS and setup a base station to use
RADIUS authentication back to the leopard server, authentication
fails. I know i am entering the password in correctly, so that is not
the problem. I'm guessing that I'm missing some edit to a config file
that will allow RADIUS to decrypt passwords from passwordservice and
then authenticate them.
this is all i get for an error in my RADIUS logs: "Thu Nov 29 17:07:18
2007 : Auth: rlm_unix: [nick]: invalid password" and like i said, i
KNOW the password is being entered correctly.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
