Securing OD with (signed) SSL certificates

Hello,

I'm trying to secure our OD servers and install SSL certificates on them. The certificates are signed by a intermediate CA, so beside the certificate and the private key file for it I do also have a chain file with the info to validate the certificates. The certificates are in the PEM format.

How can I install such certificates? Here is what I tried:
- copy the 3 files (cert, key and chainfile) on the local machine (home dir of the admin user)
- opened ServerAdmin and went to OD settings, protocol
- enabled checkbox by SSL option
- selected Custom Configuration in the certificate dropdown
- enter the paths to the cert, key and chainfile
- did enter nothing as passphrase as there is no password on the certifcate
- clicked import

Then I get a "Certificate import failed" message :(

Thanks for your help

Christian
