That depends on your server workload and configuration needs. If you have a simple setup, you could conceivably do an update. However, it might be best that you wait until Leopard comes out. Theoretically, being a 10.X release, it will have a lot of improvements, some of which may be setup/configuration related and some that might be changes in services.
