Panther server and intel imacs

I currently have osX server 10.3.9 with mostly 10.3.9 clients. I do have about 16 machines running Tiger and the network works just fine. I have to purchase some new machines to replace some older imacs (2003 models) but cannot at this time update the server to 10.4. Since all of the newer imacs have an intel processor will this in any way affect their connection to a 10.3.9 server? I would hate to order 20 machines and not have them work.
