Hi All
The past week our servers seem to have gone on "go slow" mode.
we have 3 document servers all running 10.4.11 and 1 login server
running the same.
All of a sudden we are experiencing 80% usage of cpu's, 5mp/s peaks
on the network throughput...
Most emacs are really slow at logging in and even if they do, they
don't mount the documents folder correctly.
would be grateful any ideas?
Are these Intel servers, or PPC?
If PPC, are they running PPC 10.4.11 Server, or the Universal build?
When you have a 'go slow', what processes have high utilisation on the
servers?
Obvious question, but has anything changed - updates to client or
server OS, infrastructure changes etc?
