Hello,
Recently one of my server's System Logs has started to spam authentication
failures;
Jun 12 11:21:46 fms DirectoryService[61]: Failed Authentication return is
being delayed due to over five recent auth failures for username: admin.
The same error message is spammed over and over, and I can't figure out what
is trying to authenticate with the username admin. The server is bound to
an OD server, however the bind occurs with no issues.
I have no active programs running, and the only active services I have are
for Filemaker Pro 9 Server. The server isn't behaving strangely or
anything, but have thousands of lines of logs in the System Log is annoying
when you're trying to troubleshoot issues.
Any ideas on what's causing these auth failures?
