What are potential Mail Cluster pitfalls?

I found in a post from January (subject Mail Cluster Problems) but haven't seen anything since then. With Xsan 2.1 and 10.5.3 out we are ready to move to clustered mail servers. However one thing from the January post has me worried since we do have a mixed architecture environment.

Intel CPUs are little-endian, G5s are big-endian. Berkeley databases are not endian-portable, therefore you cannot share the Cyrus database files to two different architectures like this.

I can't find any Mac OS X specific info regarding that and I don't totally understand the Berkley db info I have found. The documentation about about setting up a mail cluster is pretty thin. Is this and undocumented caveat? Are there others?

Thanks,

Kevin
