Crontab Vs. Lauchd

Here is my story, I used cronnix since 10.2 and it was working fine, it ran cron jobs at the correct time on daily basis. Since I had a  such a good luck with cronnix, I used for leopard server as well and my problems start, they start running randomly, some day they work fine and some day they just sit there and do nothing. I look at logs and see that famous cron message that seems many people see in Laopard: 11/29/07 5:40:00 AM com.apple.launchd (0x1121b0.cron) Couldnot setup Mach task special port 9: (os/kernno access.

So I read bunch of messages and some people suggested that maybe it is a permission problem, so I moved that from admin crontab to root crontab and the same old behavior, Jobs run whenever they want. So my next move would be creating .plist in launchd. My questions are: 1)Do you think launchd would help me out with my situations?  What do you guys think about Lingon by Peter Brog to create launchd .plist? I am looking for any type of help....

Thank you,

-Popak
