I'm inclined to use Centrify
DirectControl to allow the Macs to be managed with AD and Group
Policy and
not have a Mac OS X 10.5 server in the mix at all if possible. But
that's
what the pilot is for.
As you point out, there are many solutions to address your problems.
At least you're checking out what OS X Server has to offer. Regarding
the OS X collaboration suite, it is a 1.0 release. I'm not concerned
that there are problems with it at this early juncture, but then I'm
able to wait for it to improve. I would be concerned if it didn't
improve, but I don't think that will be the case.
Regarding the IE7 problems, does Firefox have these problems?
