Hi Folks;

Does anyone know if there is any actual difference in the drive sled supplied for an SATA or SAS supplied drive module?

In other words; can the SATA drive supplied in an 80GB ADM be replaced with an SAS drive?

Thanks in advance for any info on this.

Bottom line is it doesn't matter what the answer is that any ADM you buy will have the appropriate sled. If you buy a SATA ADM it will have a sled; if you buy a SAS ADM it will have a sled. So the question is irrelevant.

Questions about replacement of the drives or sled components are rather FAQish and you'll find discussion about them in the archives for this list.
