Since migrating a mail service over to Leopard, I have found that some users, who are properly using SMTP authentication, are getting now blocked by the blacklists. Somehow, that is taking precedence. The authentication service is working fine, as many users are authenticating to port 587. The server is immediately rejecting the address before there's an opportunity to authenticate. Does anyone have any pointers as to how that might be fixed?

Can you post the log entries or at least any proof you have that this is in fact happening. Also post the output of the command 'postconf - n' so we can see the configuration settings of the mail server. Without this info it's difficult to help.
