I/We do use Mailman for our Bigger lists, but Mailman add the extra
Complexity of another password for the users, that will (to be honest)
just confuse them... As soon as I setup the first mailman list and a user
got the 'Welcome..' email it caused a bit of confusion, and with the
mail-2-group option I can allow 'Restricted Admin' users (i.e. My
Technicians) to add users to the groups and so on, With Mailman I will
Then have to train the techs on how to setup & manage a list...
The mail-2-group is just simple/easy/strait forward for a less experienced
User to manage. So for some situation Mailman is way, way Over the Top...
But the fact still stands, Why did it work, and is now not working...
To say 'it don't work, use something else...' isn't really a solution to the
problem, the problem still exists....
