Hmm...let's play a game. It's called "What list am I posting to?" Why, it's
the "Mac OS X *SERVER*" list. Maybe, and here's a clue, maybe, if you want
to not get called out on the multiple, and blatant errors in your raving,
you might have noticed that.

On both 10.4 and 10.5, there are in fact, ways to deal with this, including
the heretofore sooper seekret BACK UP club. Just because you can't be arsed
to follow best practices doesn't mean they aren't there.

10.5.2 has gone a long way towards fixing Active Directory issues with
regard to binding, and Directory Utility is the primary method I use. It's
been rock solid for Open Directory. Perhaps you could, you know, list actual
details of a problem instead of crying like the second runner up for prom
king?

Even worse, you get neither a pony, nor candy from Apple. You could of
course, use Apple Remote Desktop or Screen Sharing or actually talking to
the user, but since neither of those 3 are what you want, I suppose you'll
continue crying instead of POSTING ACTUAL PROBLEM DETAILS THAT ANYONE HAS A
PRAYER OF HELPING YOU WITH.

Dear god, could you take your own advice? How about next time, you post a
problem, with pertinent details, hmm?
