Frustrating AD occurrence.

I have a weird AD issue that I can't seem to figure out. What is happening is this. I have a test/image machine that is bound to AD/OD (not the golden triangle) and it seems to work fine for both of our clusters. Then what usually happens is the next day when I come in it will only log into one of the clusters (student cluster) and not the other (admin cluster). It does communicate with AD because it'll shake on a wrong password, the login window goes gray like it's logging in, but it'll just sit there forever until I force it down. An unbind and rebind will cure it, but sometimes just letting it sit for a while will also cure it. Trashing (this seemed to work a few times) the mit.kerberos file in /Library/Preferences seemed to work, but not consistent. The logs (at least the ones I've been checking) haven't revealed squat to me.

I would really appreciate any advice on troubleshooting what is causing this weird behavior.

Thanks
Dave Boyer
