Appletalk has been going away since at least the Jaguar days if not
earlier.
Interesting, Appletalk is the first thing I'm asked to eliminate
whenever I go to a shop. Especially enterprise shops. :)
What do you mean by AppleTalk? Do you mean AppleTalk the network
protocol (same level as TCP), or do you mean AppleTalk-over-IP?
I am not advocating AppleTalk-over-IP as the best solution to
everything, and prefer other things over PAP (printing through
AppleTalk-over-IP), but it is still a valid method of doing things. My
recommendations away form it usually are because I want to have print
servers, and not many of them support PAP.
