Re: require user change password at next login broken(or never worked)?

Just found some strange thing. I created a user in WGM in / LDAPv3/127.0.0.1, and assigned a password, under "Advanced" tab, after I pressed the "Options" button, in the pop-up window, I checked "be changed at next login" under "Allow the user to change the password".

Then I tried to log in as the user (ssh). But could not log in. The "password: " prompt just kept coming back, asking for the password again and again.

The 'require user to change password' feature does two things: marks the existing password as invalid, and triggers something in the OS X Login window that makes it tell the user to change their password.

if the user tries to log in using any other method than an OS X Login window, all the system sees is that their password is invalid.
