No it does not. It implies that the file is bad, and you jumped to a
conclusion that the update changed this file.

Evidently, Apple's previous inability to cleanly handle what we
might do to our .cf files has continued into the 10.5.3 update. :-/

More as I get it. I have a few ideas about how to approach this, but
they will take a little time to sleuth and test.
Like replace the file with a backup?
