Of course this is not satisfying, because there is always an open GUI-Session necessary with
the user which want to use the script on the command line.

Can I ask what you are using WebKit to do ? There's very little it does that's useful to someone who can't see a window.

I want to use the webkit2png script as service connected to a tomcat-based webapplication, where someone can
input an URL and get back an image. So I don't need any window to see.
