Funny, I was thinking about exactly the same scenario only my replicas are in different countries.  One thought I had was to temporarily connect my other the servers to the ODM (as attached below) rather than replicate them straight away.  T

Does anybody know of a reason this wouldn't work?

 Any insights anyone has will be greatly appreciated. I will be in one of our most remote offices next week so if I need to prepare that server in some way for the coming Master upgrade, now would be a great time to do it.
