For some reason my Firewire case is broken.
I have two drive's configured with Appleraid as redunanted set. Did
work well.
Because I cant repair the Firewire case, I have to take out the drives.
Of course I would like to copy the data over to another new case.
1. is it possible that I place the drive's into my mac and that it is
picked up correctly?
2. is it possible that I place the drive's into my mac and that I can
rebuild the raid?
3. Is it possible to place one drive into my mac and try to read the
drive, with or without diskutil?
Does someone has any experience with that?
I am afraid if I connect the drive to the system that the system will
do something with it, like writing a block or..., so I need some
advice here.
