Kevin, I was aware of the default setting for MaxPageSize as mentioned in my original post along with the fact that my AD admins are unwilling the increase the number. Their reasoning is that I should just make use of paging -- something WGM apparently is unable to do. I have been pointed at ADmitMac by Thursby as a tool that implements paging and I am giving that a try next week to see if it will improve things, along with some other possible tweaks mentioned by other posters. Thanks, Pepijn. On May 30, 2008, at 4:04 PM, Kevin Ross wrote: The problems with Workgroup Manager not seeing more than a 1000 records in LDAP is a problem with AD. The link below shows you how to change the settings of AD so you can see all of your accounts. MaxPageSize is the value you want to change so that Workgroup Manager can see all of your users. Change the value to the level needed to see all of your users. --- Pepijn Bruienne Mac OS X Systems Administrator |
