I thought I would do a shout out here and see if anyone else has a
suggestion. I have done several Google searches but I haven’t found anything
that would work. We have several clipart images, (in the 2-3 million range)
that our instructors would like to access from a webpage in our labs. Does
anyone know of a good web gallery that would to this? It would be nice if the
web gallery would create the thumbnails and allow users to download the clipart
image by clicking the thumbnail. Thanks Travis We use ResourceSpace for something like this: http://www.resourcespace.org/ We use one installation of this to store images from
confocal microscopes, a NeuroLucida, and normal DIC images. We worked out
a system to identify each image with researcher, area of the brain, date, and
any special information so it can be searched to quickly find what you want. The second installation is for lab illustrations that have
been used in manuscripts, grants, lectures, and seminar talks. It's free, easy to install and customize, and works great
for us. rick Thanks J We are going to install resourcespace and see if it will work. Travis |
