I've been using their re-branded, web-based word processor, spread
sheet, presentation system, web site builder, contacts manager, shared
calendar, and customizable start page (not offered to new accounts -
sorry) for about a year now. We just discontinued our internal email
service in favor of their email service this month. The message and
folder migration worked way better and way faster than anything I
expected. The message recovery goes back 10 years, if you pay for the
service. They give over 7GB of storage per user.
For proof of concept, just look at their customers. There are entire
universities and corporations that have moved to this service. So
far, my users have been pretty happy with it. By way of reference, I
ran my own Unix based email system from Jan 1999 to July 2009. In the
last few years, it was postfix, SquirrelMail, SpamAssassin, etc. much
like Apple.
