Re: SMTP Problem

Here is the issue I'm having, that I can't seem to get my head wrapped around, as it only happens to one user.

When this user sends an email from their computer at work, everything works fine, and if they take that computer to Panera, or any other WiFi hot spot, everything also works fine.

However, when they take their computer home, they are unable to send messages.

In order to avoid acting as a gateway for spam, it's normal to set up a university email server so that it will refuse to send any email that didn't originate on campus.

Your user will have to have two SMTP servers entered into their email software: one to use when they're on campus and another to use when they're at home. You might do this by setting up two accounts, or by setting up one account with access to both email servers.
