We use it extensively and have found it works very well. We have 8 MacPro Towers loaded with RAM and connected to both a NAS and a SAN. We move VM's around (Win2K Server and SUSE Linux, and one OS X Server) and run them on different boxes as needed.

It's not as cool as what's available in the larger VMware universe (no live migration :(.....but it works, and works well. We've done it for about 2 years now.
