Thread-topic: problem playing mp4 video file as a podcast to apple blog in 10.6.8

Hi,
We updated our snow leopard podcast system to 10.6.8 and if I now manually add an mp4 video file (e.g. File name od 9264.mp4) to the blog as a podcast item (podcast item before I select the item to add to the blog entry), subsequently the mp4 video file is listed on the blog, but it is shown as an audio file. It will replay within the blog as an audio item, it does not show the video part.
If I subscribe to the blog, it is replays fine in iTunes as a video.
The mime type on the server (Web setup) for mp4 files seem fine [MIME Types - video/mp4, Suffix m4v,mp4,mp4v.mpg4].
Any suggestions appreciated on how to fix this as some users only want to watch the items on the blog.
