Probing nubus cards

I'm trying to detect the PDS network card in my Performa so I took the
bart.c file and made no_bart.c (unfortunate naming, perhaps) that
registers itself as a nubus_controller if the machine is a Performa, but
with none of the set_slot_disable etc. functions rally implemented, they
just return.

That made the probing start in nubus, but everything stops completely
after "Trying bus space probe of fefffffe" and then "Trying inb". It can
probe all the non-existing slots (9 to d), the hang comes when it comes to
slot number e, where the card should show up.

So now I'm wondering if the nubus probing works on PDM class machines,
because I found an (old) webpage where it said that it doesn't
(http://www.mklinux.org/articles/sr990529.html).

If anyone wants it I can publish the no_bart.c file and the diffs on a
webpage.
