Startup - newbie

It has been a long time since I installed and I still have a newbie question.

I can startup dhcpd when I (logged in as root) start X and use the gnome control panel. However, I would like to do this at startup. I seem to remember seeing how to do this once with other daemone but can seem to find it in my old mail.

It should be easy but seems to elude me. Any suggestions?
