I tried every kernel I know that is compatible with the NuBus PowerPC Macs
including the MkLinux kernels, Takashi Oe's Monolithic NuBus Kernel
(versions 2.4.5 and 2.4.6pre3, I believe), tried using different versions of
BootX including 1.2b1, 1.2b3 (this one just plain crashes, period), Modified
BootX by Ludovic Ishiomin, which was modified in order to boot MkLinux
(Version 1.2b1-ludo - 30/11/1999), and they all give me nothing but a screen
with some colored lines- occasionally with a little bit of the early boot
messages about TCP, etc. interspersed with the colored lines. I realize
that you are very busy, but if you have time to look at this issue when
things settle down, I know a lot of people would be very happy about it.
