BootX and MkLinux

Hi, does anyone know how I use the MakeMkPlugin program to make the BootX application work with MkLinux? If I use the extension, when I hit MkLinux, it freezes right after linux starts to boot, and when I hit Linux, the screen goes to a bunch of different colors and freezes. I am hoping that the BootX app is will actually work so then my Crescendo card should also work with linux.
My system specs:
PM 6100/60
72mb RAM
MacOS 8.6
MkLinux (pre?)R1 G7 on /dev/sdb6
NuBus Sonnet Crescendo G3 card

PS Is there a version of BootX (or other app) that is made for use with MkLinux and can boot Mk from MacOS w/o an extension?
